A start of an adventure

Hello, I'm Kinga, originally from Poland but have been living in Ireland since high-school. Ireland has become my 2nd home and althought I will never get used to the rainy weather I love how welcoming and friendly Irish people are. I have also lived in Japan for 5 years where I both studied the language and architectural design as well as worked both in hospitality and in architecture. Althought I have enjoyed both, I came to a conclusion that since I love interacting with people, I have enjoyed my work in hospitality the most. And I have to say that Ireland is probably one of the best places to work in hospitality due to the general friendliness and how easy going everyone is. I have yet to meet a grumpy customer that would make me want to quit my job (and I sure hope it stays that way!)
Although I have many interests (like art, architecture, travel, culture, nature, to name a few) and have experience in various fields of work (apart from architecture I have taught ceramics, worked as a photographers assistant and translation among many), only recently have I rediscovered my passion for the hospitality sector. Since then I have decided to enroll in BiFe for the Bar and Restaurant Management course to further my skills and refresh what already has become quite rusty. It was thanks to the BiFe school that I ended up with this amazing opportunity to experience work in the sunny coast of Spain. Through graduating from my course I have been offered to participate in an Erasmus program which allows me to work for 3 weeks in the Spanish city Malaga while experiencing it's culture first hand. Couldn't be more excited! Have been trying to brush up on my Spanish but have yet to make any significant progress (starting from zero is not easy!), hopefully once I arrive I'll start picking up more words! Already packed and ready, cannot wait to board the plane tomorrow, Sunny days and sandy beaches here I come :) (and hard work of course!)
